The Hidden Reason You’re Not Moving Forward

— And How Coaching Finally Breaks the Cycle

If you’ve ever caught yourself asking, “Why do I keep ending up in the same patterns?” — you’re not alone.

You want growth. Momentum. Peace.

Yet somehow, life keeps handing you the same challenges, over and over.

Here’s the truth most people never hear:

You’re not stuck because you’re failing. You’re stuck because you’re trying to do it alone.

Most people don’t need more motivation…

They need support, clarity, and someone trained to help them see what they can’t see for themselves.

That’s exactly what coaching is designed to do.

The Real Work Happens Beneath the Surface

Transformation doesn’t come from forcing discipline or pushing harder.

It comes from:

  • Clearing mental and emotional clutter that drains your energy
  • Learning to regulate your nervous system so you stop living in survival mode
  • Identifying patterns you didn’t even know were running your decisions
  • Creating systems that actually match your personality and lifestyle
  • Reclaiming your voice, confidence, and self-trust

Clients often say:

“I didn’t realize how much I was carrying until I finally had someone walk me through it.”

“I used to push people away. Now I understand myself, and I’m finally letting support in.”

“My life isn’t the same. I’m more grounded, more confident, and more clear.”

Coaching isn’t about being told what to do.

It’s about guiding you back to the version of you who already knows what she needs.

Why Most People Don’t Get Results — Even When They Want Change

Because willpower alone can’t fix:

  • Emotional overwhelm
  • Avoidance patterns
  • A dysregulated nervous system
  • Old conditioning
  • Lack of clarity
  • Doing everything for everyone else but yourself

You can’t build a new life with the same tools that built the old one.

Working with a certified coach gives you access to new strategies — but more importantly, it gives you access to a new level of awareness.

And that’s what creates rapid, lasting change.

What It Looks Like When You Finally Get the Right Support

Clients describe their breakthroughs like this:

  • “For the first time in years, I feel calm.”
  • “My thoughts aren’t racing anymore.”
  • “I stop shutting down when life gets heavy.”
  • “I actually show up for myself.”
  • “I’m not doing everything alone.”

This is the clarity and alignment that flows into your relationships, your work, your health, your energy — your whole life.

Because when your nervous system is supported, everything expands.

Is Coaching for You? Ask Yourself:

  • Are you tired of repeating the same cycles?
  • Are you overwhelmed but still trying to hold everything together?
  • Do you know there’s more for you, but don’t know where to start?
  • Do you want support, accountability, and clarity?
  • Are you ready to become the version of yourself you’ve been imagining?

If you answered yes to even one of these — coaching will change your life.

Not temporarily. Not superficially. But deeply.

Goat Milk Soap That Feels Like Grace in a Bar

Clean display of goat milk soap and organic products for skin, featuring non-toxic skin care options from a Christian-owned brand that understands healing must be gentle on your skin and soul. These goat milk soap benefits align with a trauma-informed, faith-forward and inclusive coaching approach that supports both physical and emotional wellness after religious trauma.

Searching for soap that is good for sensitive skin, gentle, honest, and pure can be a challenge. Something that doesn’t leave you second-guessing your self-care. And maybe… something that feels a little like grace. Our goat milk soap might be the best option for you! Goat milk soap is not just a pretty bar but a real part of an all-natural skin care lifestyle that supports healing, hydration, and hope.

Why Sensitive Skin Needs Extra Tenderness

Sensitive skin doesn’t just mean the occasional dryness. For many people, it can look like burning or stinging after washing, breakouts from gentle products, or flaky patches that won’t go away.

These symptoms can be frustrating and even embarrassing. According to a 2023 Cleveland Clinic report, up to 60–70% of women and 50–60% of men say they have sensitive skin. Yet, most products still contain harsh sulfates, synthetic dyes, and strong preservatives that trigger even more inflammation. That’s where the power of goat milk soap comes in.

More Than Clean Skin: The Emotional Toll of Skin Struggles

If you’ve ever canceled plans because of a painful flare-up…

If you’ve ever cried from stinging skin while trying a new cleanser…

If you’ve ever felt like no one understands how much energy it takes to “look normal”…

You’re not alone.

Sensitive skin can hurt your confidence, energy, and self-image. But we’re here to tell you: you are not your skin condition. Our community of customers frequently shares how switching to goat milk soap has not only improved their skin but also helped them feel seen and cared for, without all the toxins or guesswork.

All Natural Skin Care with a Faith-Filled Heart

At Chrissy’s Lil Corner, we believe that every product you use should feel like a prayer answered. That’s why our goat milk soaps are made with no parabens or sulfates, artificial colors, or synthetic fragrances. It just contains real, nourishing ingredients—like olive oil, coconut oil, and of course, fresh goat milk.

What Makes Goat Milk Soap So Good for Sensitive Skin?

Goat milk is packed with naturally occurring lactic acid, vitamins A, D, and B6, and healthy fats. These nutrients help repair the skin barrier, soothe redness, and moisturize deeply, without clogging your pores. That’s why goat milk soap is a favorite among dermatologists and holistic skin care specialists alike.

Unlike chemical-heavy cleansers, goat milk soap acts as a non-comedogenic cleanser, meaning it won’t clog pores or cause blackheads. It works with your skin, not against it.

A 2024 article from Healthline explains that the fat molecules in goat milk help retain moisture and reduce water loss—two things sensitive skin craves daily.

Why Chrissy’s Goat Milk Soap Is Different

At Chrissy’s Lil Corner, we make every bar with love, prayer, and science-backed skin care wisdom. Our goat milk soap is gentle enough for babies, teens, and elders. It supports skin healing during hormonal changes or chronic conditions and helps restore your glow!

Faith and Healing: What a Life and Wellness Coach Can Do for You

A client of Chrissy's Lil Corner is featured receiving he benefits of a self development coach discussing what a life coach does and how much life coaches charge. This trauma-informed, Christian-owned practice provides faith-forward and inclusive coaching designed to be gentle on your skin and soul while helping people process spiritual trauma, explore non-Christian religions, or embrace belief in God without religion.

Have you ever felt stuck at a crossroads? Do your emotions wegh so heavily on you that you feel torn between gratitude and restlessness? Many of us wonder how to find your calling when life looks “good” on paper but doesn’t feel fulfilling in your spirit. That’s where a faith-based life and wellness coach can make all the difference.

What Does a Life Coach Do, Really?

Simply put, a life coach is someone who helps you move from where you are now to where you truly want to be. A faith-based life and wellness coach goes a step further by bringing God into the conversation. They don’t just talk about goals—they talk about healing, forgiveness, alignment, and your divine purpose.

Unlike therapists, who focus on healing from the past, coaches help you take action in the present to move toward the future God has for you. They hold you accountable in love, challenge your limiting beliefs, and walk with you as you grow.

According to the International Coaching Federation, 80% of people who work with a coach say they’ve improved their confidence and clarity about the future. With a faith-filled coach, that clarity often comes with prayer, reflection, and Spirit-led wisdom.

How to Find Your Calling (Without Burning Out)

This is the question that keeps so many of us up at night: how to find your calling. It’s not always about changing your job or starting a ministry. Sometimes, your calling is about how you show up—with joy, with peace, and with purpose—even in the life you already have.

A self development coach can help you uncover the gifts you’ve been overlooking.

Most importantly, they help you invite God into the process. Proverbs 3:6 reminds us to “acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your path.” A coach helps you do just that—with faith and structure. When you understand your calling, you stop chasing everything—and start walking in alignment.

How Personal Development Coaching Helps Your Spirit and Soul

Personal development coaching isn’t just about productivity. It’s about healing. Many of us carry wounds from the past—times we were overlooked, criticized, or made to feel “too much.” A faith-based coach creates space for you to bring all of that to the table.

Through prayer, journaling, reflection, and practical steps, you’ll begin to untangle old beliefs and replace them with truth.

Because coaching is collaborative, you won’t go through it alone. You’ll have someone encouraging you, celebrating your wins, and helping you pick yourself back up when you slip. That kind of support changes lives.

When You’re Tired of Trying to “Figure It Out” Alone

If you’re reading this and thinking, “This sounds like me,” then maybe it’s time to stop trying to carry it all by yourself. Maybe it’s time to invite someone to walk beside you—someone who’s trained to help you grow, listen to God’s voice, and take bold steps toward your calling. We believe healing isn’t just about what you do—it’s about who you’re becoming. And becoming who God made you to be is the most important journey you’ll ever take.

How to Find Your Calling

One-on-one coaching session featuring a self development coach discussing what a life coach does and how much life coaches charge. This trauma-informed, Christian-owned practice provides faith-forward and inclusive coaching designed to be gentle on your skin and soul while helping people process spiritual trauma, explore non-Christian religions, or embrace belief in God without religion.

Many people feel lost when it comes to knowing their true purpose. The good news? Learning how to find your calling is possible—and you don’t have to figure it out alone.

What Does It Mean to “Find Your Calling”?

Your “calling” is the work or path in life that gives you meaning, peace, and energy. It doesn’t always have to be a job or exact career. Your calling could be parenting, mentoring, creating, or serving in your community.

Finding your calling isn’t about chasing money or status. It’s about listening to the voice inside you—and for many, the voice of God—that says, “You were made for this.”

It can be easy to feel pulled in different directions. But deep down, we all crave a sense of direction. That’s why learning how to find your calling is so important.

Signs You Haven’t Found Your Calling Yet

Sometimes we ignore the signs because life is “good enough.” But if you notice these feelings often, it might be time to pause and reflect:

  • You dread going to work every day
  • You feel like something’s missing
  • You envy people who seem “passionate” about their lives
  • You often ask, “What’s the point of all this?”

These feelings aren’t bad. In fact, they’re clues. They’re pointing you toward change—and toward discovering your true path.

How to Find Your Calling (Even If You Feel Lost)

Let’s be honest. Figuring out your purpose doesn’t always come with flashing lights or a clear voice from the sky. But it does come through small steps. Here’s where to start:

1. Get Quiet and Pray

Before you search the world for answers, start by going inward. Prayer, journaling, and quiet time help you connect with God and your inner voice.

Ask:

  • “What brings me peace?”
  • “When do I feel most alive?”
  • “How can I serve others with my gifts?”

God often speaks in whispers, not shouts. Make space to listen.

2. Reflect on Your Gifts and Experiences

Your calling is usually connected to your story. What experiences have shaped you? What do others often come to you for? If you’ve gone through a tough time and made it out stronger, that experience may be part of your purpose. You were equipped to help others going through the same thing.

3. Try New Things

Sometimes we wait for clarity before we act. But often, clarity comes through action. Volunteering, taking a class, or mentoring someone can help you uncover what lights you up. Start small. You don’t have to quit your job tomorrow. Just take one step.

What Does a Life Coach Do (and Can One Help Me?)

If you’re serious about finding your calling, a life coach or self-development coach can guide you through the process. But what does a life coach do, exactly?

A life coach helps you:

  • Identify your passions and gifts
  • Set meaningful, faith-aligned goals
  • Overcome fear and limiting beliefs
  • Create a path forward

Think of it as having a trusted partner who listens deeply, encourages you, and helps you move forward with confidence. Personal development coaching focuses on your growth, not just career-wise, but emotionally, spiritually, and mentally.

What If I Still Don’t Know What I’m Called to Do?

If you’re reading this and still unsure, that’s okay. The journey isn’t always fast. But each step you take—each moment of reflection, each prayer, each new experience—gets you closer. Don’t rush the process. God’s timing is perfect. And your calling? It’s already within you, waiting to be uncovered.

At Chrissy’s Lil Corner, we believe faith-filled support should be accessible. That’s why we offer personal development coaching rooted in love, prayer, and encouragement—no fluff, no pressure—just real guidance for real people. Whether you’re starting over or just starting to ask the deeper questions, we’re here to walk with you. You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Body Wellness: The Best Skin Care Products for Sensitive Skin

Clean display of goat milk soap and organic products for skin, featuring non-toxic skin care options from a Christian-owned brand that understands healing must be gentle on your skin and soul. These goat milk soap benefits align with a trauma-informed, faith-forward and inclusive coaching approach that supports both physical and emotional wellness after religious trauma.

How to Take Care of Sensitive Skin

Sometimes, sensitive skin can make the simple act of washing your face feel like a battle. The products you may be using may make your skin feel itchy, or your cheeks may get red. But you don’t have to suffer to have healthy skin. With the right care, gentle products, and a little faith, your sensitive skin can feel soothed, supported, and strong.

What Is Sensitive Skin, Really?

Sensitive skin isn’t just about having a bad reaction to one product. It’s about how your skin reacts to the world. Maybe your cheeks turn red on a pollen-potent day. Maybe your skin stings when you use certain soaps. Or maybe you’ve tried product after product, and nothing ever feels just right.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, sensitive skin is a common condition that means your skin is more likely to react to ingredients, weather, or even stress. It can show up as redness, tightness, dryness, or itchiness. Some people deal with it for years before realizing what’s really going on.

How to Choose the Best Skin Care Products for Sensitive Skin

When your skin is easily irritated, choosing the right products matters. Starting simple is key. Stick with products that are free from strong chemicals, added fragrance, and artificial dyes. These may include gentle moisturizers, calming toners, and creams designed to reduce redness.

The best products are those that protect your skin’s natural barrier. Dermatologists from Healthline suggest looking for ingredients like aloe vera, chamomile, and oat extract. These are known for their calming effects.

🌿 Tip from the heart: Read the ingredient label like you’re reading a food label. If you can’t pronounce it, you may not want it on your skin.

Why a Non-Comedogenic Cleanser Is a Must

“Non-comedogenic” simply means the product is made to avoid blocking your pores. Who would want blocked pores? For people with sensitive skin, blocked pores can lead to redness, bumps, and breakouts.

A non-comedogenic cleanser is gentle and keeps your face feeling clean without stripping away the natural oils your skin needs to stay balanced. That being said, if you have sensitive skin, you can definitely benefit from a cleanser that won’t clog pores or cause more irritation.

The Power of All-Natural Skin Care

If you’ve ever felt like your skin just knows when you’re using something fake, you’re not imagining it. Sensitive skin often responds better to all-natural skin care products that are plant-based and free from synthetic ingredients.

Natural products often use ingredients like: Calendula (to reduce redness), Shea butter (to moisturize), and Rose water (to tone and calm).

According to a 2024 article by Byrdie, natural products are also less likely to trigger allergies, especially for people who have both sensitive skin and scent sensitivity.

But remember—just because it says “natural” on the label doesn’t mean it’s perfect for everyone. Always patch-test a small amount on your wrist before using anything new.

Soap That Is Good for Sensitive Skin

You may think all soap is created equal, but when it comes to sensitive skin, the wrong bar can cause a whole lot of trouble. Harsh soaps strip away moisture, leaving your skin dry and exposed.

Instead, look for soap that is good for sensitive skin, meaning it’s pH-balanced, made with moisturizing ingredients like goat milk, oatmeal, or olive oil, dye-free, and fragrance-free.

Using the wrong soap can worsen flare-ups or lead to skin conditions like contact dermatitis. Using natural ingredients, our soaps are non-comedogenic and could be exactly what you need.

How Faith and Encouragement Play a Role

Caring for your skin is more than just a routine—it’s an act of self-love. And sometimes, you need a little spiritual encouragement, too.

Psalm 139:14 says, “I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” That includes your skin, sensitive or not. You were created with care. And that means you deserve care in return.

So if you’re tired of the trial-and-error or feeling like your skin is always working against you, take heart. There is hope. With a few right choices and a lot of grace, you can get back to glowing from the inside out.

“Reveal”: Bible Study Journal

~ I guess “Reveal” can come in like a small, warm soft whisper & leave like a stern, strong ox.

~Reveal definition: Make previously unknown or secret information known to others. To make known; disclose; to lay open to view; display or exhibit.

What does reveal mean in the Bible?

To disclose, discover or make known from heaven. God has been pleased to reveal his will to man. The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men. ~Romans 1:18

What is it called when God reveals things to you?

Revelation means to show us something we did not know or see before. In Christianity revelation refers to the way in which God reveals himself. Revelation does not only happen to saints or “holy people.” You are responsible for listening to God’s word in order to see how God is revealing himself to you.

How does God reveal himself to us?

We can know that God exists by thinking about it. God tells us about himself in the Bible, the Church, and Sacred Tradition. Jesus Christ is the fullest revelation of God to us.

How does the Holy Spirit reveal things to you?

The Holy Spirit teaches and illuminates the truth. I believe everybody has their own personal experience. Just like how I was lead to share and start this very Bible study. But look here we are. As speakers and (Preachers, and I am not) but as they share God’s word, as we gather in community to study scripture, in our personal study, in prayer, as we daily follow Christ, The Spirit of God leads us to the truth.

What do you think God is revealing for you today in your Life?

Let’s Keep Going, Let’s keep Revealing. I don’t know why I kept hearing: “Reveal” for several days in a row. What I do know, is I looked into it and researched it. I decided to listen and share some of what I have learned with my readers. For a deeper study further your research to find out what God is trying to reveal for you personally in your life.

“More Promises” Bible Study Journal

God owes no one anything. No explanations, No excuses. No help. God has no dept, no outstanding balance, no favors to return. God owes no man anything.

Which makes the fact that he gave us everything even more astounding. ~Max Lucado

Wow! How powerful is that right! As if that’s not powerful enough, we read in our Bible in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that who so ever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

A few study questions:

1. If God owes us nothing, why do we question him when things go wrong?

2. Describe a time in your life when you felt, “Put in your place” by God.

Please read Psalms 73: 12-26

3. Does it sometimes seem that evil reaps more rewards than righteousness, as like in this Psalm? And if so why?

4. No matter how much we wonder or doubt in the end how do we come back, as this psalmist did, to God’s presence as our strength and joy?

5. Even when it seems like misfortune has a way of finding us, what are the promises that we do have?

More Promises in scripture:

Romans 8:35-39

“Can anything separate us us from the love Christ has for us? Can troubles or problems or sufferings or hunger or nakedness or danger or violent death?”

As it is written in the scriptures: “For you are in danger of death all the time. People think we are worth no more than sheep to be killed.” “But in all these things we have full victory through God who showed his love for us. Yes I am sure that neither death, nor life nor angels, nor ruling spirits, nothing now, nothing in the future, no powers, nothing above us, nor anything else in the whole world will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

6. Does it altar your view of difficulties to know that God’s love is constant through them? and if so, In what ways?

7. Do you think God sometimes seems far away when times are really tough? Why?

8.When it comes to removing difficulties from our lives daily, if God is not going to remove them, Do you think it is enough that He promises to be with us through them?

Close Out Verse:

Please read 2 Corinthians 12:7-10

Please last but not least, if you would like, please take the time to journal your thoughts here.

A few examples: ” I need reassurance of God’s presence in these areas of my life.”

“Do you think as some people say, that we wouldn’t appreciate the good if we didn’t have the bad?”

“Describe a time when you were aware of God’s presence in your life.”

Cheers,

To “More Promises”

Chrissy

“Roots” Bible Study Journal

“Roots” definition: Noun; Pleural Noun

The part of the plant which attaches it to the ground or to a support, typically underground, conveying water and nourishment to the rest of the plant via numerous branches and fibers.

The word “Root” comes from the Latin word radix, which means a starting point.

The root of a word is the core part that contains the word’s fundamental meaning.

Roots serves as a powerful metaphor for foundational spiritual truths. They represent the underlying faith and love that support spiritual growth and resilience.

The Bible uses roots as an analogy of our strength in our faith.

How are your roots, spiritually? How can you apply this in your life?

The Bible verse Colossians 2:7 mentions roots and faith and says to keep your roots deep in Christ and build your life on Him.

~Colossians 2:6-7 ” Keep your roots deep in him and have your lives built on him. Be strong in the faith, just as you were taught and always be thankful.”

Here are more scriptures with the word “roots” in the verses:

Proverbs 12:3 “A man is not established by wickedness, but the root of the righteous cannot be moved.”

Jeremiah 17:8 ” He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; it’s leaves green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.

Job 19-28-29 “If you say How we will hound him, since the root of the trouble lies in him you should fear the sword yourselves; for wrath will bring punishment by the sword, and then you will know that there is judgement.”

In the story The Branch from Jesse

Isaiah 11:1-3 “A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; From his roots a branch will bear fruit. The spirit of the Lord will rest on him- The spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the spirit of counsel and of power, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord- and he will delight in the fear of the Lord.

Bible Study Questions:

1. How are your “roots” spiritually? Are you feeding them? Are you nourishing your spiritual branches?

2. How are you planted?

3. Please Read Proverbs12:3 again; How and where can you apply this promise to your life?

4. How can you apply Colossians 2:1-5 to your life?

More Bible Study Verses to read:

Colossians 2:6-7

Ephesians 3:17-19

Romans 10:17

Matthew 13:5-6

Psalm 1:2-3

“I Need Jesus, & Cookies” Bible Study Journal

Have you ever felt like that?

I know not all our days are perfect. Somedays are just hard. Thats why it’s important to keep Faith. It’s important, to eat. To be Spiritually fed. To have God be an avid part of our daily walk. It is imperative not to go around hungry.

Right now, I don’t even know yet, how My Husbands Day at work has been. I’m not sure yet, how both of Our Son’s are right now in this moment, or how their day has been. I don’t know how My Mama will be doing tomorrow. I do not know how My Brothers will be doing tomorrow. I do know, it matters to me. No matter how it turns out today, Jesus, & Cookies will for sure make it better either way. Just like Our Faith. It may be a hard day, that’s the importance spiritually: To Get Fed, The Good Stuff. It is not to say bad things will not happen, it’s having the Faith in what good, will come from the situation. It is having Faith that God will be with us, during our tribulations. It’s holding onto Faith and Hope, knowing that God goes before us every step of the way. Thank You Jesus!

Faith is not belief without proof, but trust without reservation. You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is like an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty. Faith is deliberate confidence in the character of God whose ways you may not understand at the time.

Give It to God, go bake, & while we’re at it: Get into God’s Word, Take time. Have A Conversation with God, Have Faith, & Don’t forget to get you some cookies, either way, it’s going to make it better.

“I need Jesus and cookies”

In Love & Light,

❤️
